Swords in Anime Astral Simulator: All Weapon Stats & Stars
Updated 2026-09-02 · Roblox Anime Astral Simulator
Swords in Anime Astral Simulator are damage multipliers you equip, not units. You get them by rolling a Sword Banner: the first one is in Lobby Arena (the starting world) and a New Sword Banner is listed under Summer Art Online. The official Trello lists 15 weapons, and gives multiplier numbers for 7 of them: Slingshot (1.1x base) up to Sungo Dagger (4.5x base, 7.9x at 3 Star). Each sword has four tiers, Base, 1 Star, 2 Star and 3 Star, and the multiplier climbs with every star. On top of the sword itself you can roll a Sword Passive in Slayer Village, a flat DMG buff from +5% (Water Breathing) to +200% (Sun Breathing). By default you equip one sword; the +1 Sword Equip gamepass adds a second slot.
The Trello does not name the currency used for sword rolls or state where it drops, so "how do you get sword rolls" is not documented yet. What it does document is below, with the numbers reproduced exactly.
All swords and their multipliers
The Trello "Weapons" list gives stats for these seven weapons. Multipliers are listed as written on the board.
| Weapon | Base | 1 Star | 2 Star | 3 Star |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Slingshot | 1.1x | 1.4x | 1.7x | 1.9x |
| Great Axe | 1.2x | 1.6x | 1.9x | 2.2x |
| Saw Sword | 1.3x | 1.7x | 2x | 2.4x |
| Mom Sword | 1.5x | 1.9x | 2.2x | 2.6x |
| Dragon Z Blade | 2x | 2.5x | 3x | 3.5x |
| Yozu | 2.8x | 3.4x | 4.1x | 4.8x |
| Sungo Dagger | 4.5x | 5.6x | 6.8x | 7.9x |
A 3 Star Slingshot (1.9x) is still weaker than a base Dragon Z Blade (2x), so do not sink upgrades into a low weapon if you can roll a higher one. Sungo Dagger at 3 Star (7.9x) is the strongest weapon with published numbers.
Swords without published stats
The Trello lists these eight weapons as cards with no stats attached. Their multipliers are not documented yet; when the board adds numbers, this table will be updated.
| Weapon | Stats | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Wind Nichrin | Not documented yet | Listed after Sungo Dagger on the board |
| Ice Sword | Not documented yet | |
| Excalibur | Not documented yet | |
| Blue Rose | Not documented yet | |
| Elucidator | Not documented yet | |
| Repulser | Not documented yet | |
| Fragrant | Not documented yet | |
| Admin Sword | Not documented yet | How it is obtained is not stated on the Trello |
The "Admin Sword" is a popular search. The board only lists the name. Whether it is a real drop, a developer-only item or a placeholder is not stated; any claimed stats for it are community-reported and unconfirmed.
How to get swords
The Trello lists two sources for swords, both of them banners (gacha rolls):
| Banner | World | How the Trello describes it |
|---|---|---|
| Sword Banner | Lobby Arena | Listed under "Contains the following" for the starting world, alongside Trials, Range Upgrades and the Exchange |
| New Sword Banner | Summer Art Online | Listed under Summer Art Online's contents with its Gacha, Merchant, Gamemode and BattlePass |
Lobby Arena is the first world, so the basic Sword Banner is available from the moment you start. Summer Art Online is the ninth world listed on the Trello board, so the New Sword Banner needs progression; see all worlds for the order and unlock requirements. Which swords belong to which banner is not documented. Several of the un-statted names (Excalibur, Blue Rose, Elucidator, Fragrant) match Sword Art Online weapon names, so they may come from the Summer Art Online banner, but that link is community-reported and unconfirmed.
Luck, Super Luck and Ultra Luck do not help here: the Trello FAQ says "gachas have their own luck and nothing affects the drop %". Whether Fast Gacha Roll or +1 Gacha Open apply to sword banners is not stated. The full list of 19 passes is on the gamepasses page.
Sword roll currency
The top search for this topic is "how do you get sword currency to roll for swords". The Trello does not name the currency or list a farm for it. Its FAQ only covers tickets (open the shop and look at the top of the panel), not sword rolls. This stays not documented yet.
Star upgrades
Every weapon with stats has four tiers: Base, 1 Star, 2 Star and 3 Star. The multiplier rises at each star, and the jump is roughly the same size at each step for a given weapon (for example Dragon Z Blade goes 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 3.5x). The Trello does not say what a star upgrade costs, whether it needs duplicate swords, or where the upgrade is done. That part is not documented yet.
Do not confuse sword stars with the +2 Star Open and Remote Star gamepasses. Those relate to the stars you open on each world to summon units (per the Trello FAQ on Remote Star), not to sword upgrades. The FAQ explains Remote Star as: "After buying the gamepass click teleport click the star icon on the world you want to summon on."
Sword Passive (DMG buff)
Slayer Village (the seventh world listed on the Trello) contains a Sword Passive (DMG BUFF) system. You roll a Breathing style onto your sword, and it adds a percentage damage buff on top of the sword's multiplier. The Trello lists eight passives:
| Sword Passive | DMG buff |
|---|---|
| Sun Breathing | +200% |
| Moon Breathing | +125% |
| Wind Breathing | +80% |
| Serpent Breathing | +55% |
| Flame Breathing | +35% |
| Thunder Breathing | +20% |
| Beast Breathing | +10% |
| Water Breathing | +5% |
The rarity tiers for each sword passive are not listed on the board. The Update Log does say that "when you get a Divine Passive on Pet or Sword, it will automatically stop rolling", which implies a Divine tier exists for sword passives; which Breathing that is (presumably Sun Breathing) is community-reported and unconfirmed. Pet passives are listed with rarities and run from +2.5% (Common: Pact Instinct) to +100% (Divine: Divine Predator); see scaling pets for those.
The code DIVINEPASSIVES appears on the Trello's code list, but it is not in IGN's currently tested working list, so treat it as likely expired; its reward is not written on the Trello. All currently working codes are on the codes page.
+1 Sword Equip gamepass
The +1 Sword Equip gamepass (Roblox id 1911130567) adds one extra sword slot, so you can equip two swords at once. It is one of the 19 passes on the game's store, and the Roblox badge data shows it has been awarded 151,632 times, making it the most-bought equip-slot pass ahead of +2 Pet Equip (141,789) and +1 Shadow Equip (79,691). Its Robux price is not returned by the Roblox API. How the two swords' multipliers combine (additive or multiplicative) is not documented yet.
Where it ranks against Remote Star, Luck and the rest is on the gamepass tier list.
Equipping and checking your swords
"How to equip sword" and "how do you check your sword inventory" are common searches, but the Trello does not describe the sword inventory UI. What is documented: one sword slot by default, two with +1 Sword Equip. The exact menu path is not documented yet.
