The best gamepass in Anime Astral Simulator, according to the developers' own FAQ on the official Trello, is Remote Star. Their reason: "you can open stars from anywhere" and "secret units are game changing".
Our own ranking of all 19 gamepasses is below. The Roblox game-pass API lists every pass for this game but returns no price for any of them, so prices are not documented here; check the in-game shop. The Trello board also hosts a "Gamepass Tier-List" image captioned "Bought from Left to Right | Order from Top to Bottom", but it is an image we could not read, so we cannot reproduce its order. Every tier below is our opinion, based on the pass names and the mechanics the Trello states.
Quick answers
- Best gamepass: Remote Star (official Trello FAQ).
- Best first buy for a near-F2P player: Remote Star if you want secret units; +2 Pet Equip if you want a permanent stat jump. Reasoning in the section below.
- Does the Luck gamepass affect gachas or drops? No. The Trello FAQ says: "gachas have their own luck and nothing affects the drop %."
- How to use Remote Star: after buying it, click teleport, then click the star icon on the world you want to summon on (Trello FAQ).
- Do Luck, Super Luck and Ultra Luck stack? Not documented yet. Community-reported as stacking, unconfirmed.
- Gifting: the in-game shop has a gifting feature. The Update 6 log notes "You can now stop gifting without needing to close the shop." Exact steps are not documented on the Trello.

Fast Gacha Roll at fourth is the one surprise; we have no price data to explain it.
Best first buy for a near-F2P player
- Remote Star if you want secret pets. It removes the walk back to each world's star, so you can hatch the highest world you have unlocked from wherever you are grinding. This is the official recommendation and the second most-owned pass.
- +2 Pet Equip if you want the biggest permanent stat jump. Two extra slots means two more pet multipliers on top of your current best team, and it keeps paying off every time you get a better pet. See the pets tier list for what those slots can hold.
- 2X Power if you are stuck on a rank-up wall. Rank requirements climb steeply (see rank ups), and Power is the stat they check.
Passes we would not buy first: any Luck tier, because free luck exists (below); Big Storage, because auto-delete already exists (Trello FAQ); Fast Gacha Roll, because the game already offers rolling without animation (Update 6 log).

Potions stack (Trello FAQ: "Can you use I and II potion at the same time? Yes potions stack."), so a Luck II from a code on top of the upgrade lines gets you a long way without the Luck pass. Full upgrade costs are on the upgrades page, and F2P Tickets are covered on tickets.
How this list will change
Each new world brings new pets to summon (the World 16 badge appeared on 29 August 2026), which makes Remote Star and +2 Star Open more valuable over time. If the Trello replaces its tier-list image with readable text, we will adopt their order. Plain-language descriptions of every pass are on gamepasses; shadow ranks are on shadows and sword passives on weapons.
